Its Glastonbury this week, the biggest West Country festival after the Bath Music Festival!
Well that might have been true in 1970 when Led Zeppelin headlined here but today, Glastonbury is easily the biggest and most famous festival and just down the road on Worthy Farm.
If you have your tickets, you are going to have an amazing time and the weather is looking pretty good, but have you got your guitar shirt yet?
If you want to stand out or blend in, depending on the crowd, we have the most stylish, cool and comfortable clothes for you.
Bright summer shirts, cool linen and lightweight Macs, as you never know.
But even if you haven’t got tickets, there is an awful lot more going on this week and over the summer.
Over in Bristol Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds are playing Canons Marsh Amphitheatre on the Bristol Harbourside, Weds 22nd which has to be another good excuse for a guitar shirt of the highest quality.
Further afield and a very different musical experience but the Birmingham International Piano Competition Semi Finals are being held on Weds and Thurs at The Bradshaw Hall, Royal Birmingham Conservatoire
200 Jennens Road, B4 7XR
Whilst not really local to Bath, the Conservatoire is one of this country’s hidden gems and well worth the trip for classical, jazz, folk and theatre.
Another hidden gem with it’s own strong ‘festival’ program this summer is Kings Place in London. L’Rain on Thursday really will be superb.
Enjoy the summer festivals and we’ll come up with more tips on what to see, and let us know anything we may be missing, especially in Bath and Bristol.
