Wedding services and unique tailored solutions
At Gabucci we specialise in providing the best wedding service we can, we support families and wedding planners to ensure the groom and his party, or indeed any male guests , look and feel their best and fit with whatever style or look the couple are aiming for on their special day.
We have a couple of aces up our sleeve so to speak. We have been dressing grooms and groomsmen for decades and have our own tailors who always deliver, we know how to achieve the results you are looking for and we provide superb service throughout.
But in addition to that our suits are unique and can be tailored to each individual. Our suits are made for us from fabrics we have made in Italy and Scotland from the finest natural yarns.
Each design is unique to us and can be customised with additional details such as specific linings and buttons, matching Liberty fabric ties made for you, the list goes on.
You get a unique tailored solution, we do make maybe 5 or 6 suits from each design we create, so these are semi bespoke which makes them much more affordable than commissioning a hand made suit and also means we can deliver, including all the necessary fittings much faster, and with great reliability.
We work hand in hand with most of the prestigious venues in Bath and surrounding counties and have just supplied suits for the photoshoot for the upcoming Wedding Open Evening at the Roman Baths and we feature some pics from the shoot here. The event is in October 2025 and you can book here if of interest, it should be a really good evening in a fabulous setting.
Advice and tips for couples and wedding planners
As part of our service we are happy to give advice and tips for people starting or already in the daunting task of setting up a planned and potentially themed wedding.
We’ve put together a comprehensive report into current trends and even suggestions for stag nights, in a blog. All the information is online and we’ve included links to each publication if you need further information but hopefully the report will give you a helpful starting point and please get in touch with us at the store, if we can help further.
Our first Gabucci Wedding Podcast
Our first PodCast covers our wedding and tailoring services.
This is a new adventure for us, we are venturing tentatively into producing a PodCast and this is our first. It covers our wedding services, in particular supporting wedding planners and families to ensure all the male guests are well presented and fit within an overall wedding vision.
We provide the tailoring and semi-bespoke suits to ensure this happens easily and without hitches and having been doing so for years.
Our two ‘guest’ presenters* have taken their inspiration from our interviews and discussions with us and have come up with a very positive overview of our services and how we help create stunning weddings by taking care of the male guests needs and fittings.
They also talk about our tailoring services outside of the wedding requirement, our Scottish and Italian clothes and how dressing well and comfortably for a man really benefits him, in terms of mood, posture and profile. There really is nothing to compare with that feeling of natural pride in a good appearance.
You can download and listen to the podcast here or listen to it above, coupled with a supporting video based on a longer length version of our wedding video produced a couple of years back. We are hoping to film new suits and accessories in time for the Spring 2025 wedding season, and the podcast and associated video is a good taster of what is coming.
We will also produce more podcasts on our services, if we get a good response to this one.
*We said this was a new adventure for us, our two ‘guest’ presenters are AI generated, part of a Google beta test program and prompted by our developer to understand and relay what is special about Gabucci and these two particular services.
Below is a transcript of the discussion, it is a fun yet very informative explanation of what we do!
“Okay, so today we’re going to do a deep dive into something a little different, something you might not expect.
We’re going to talk about menswear.
Oh wow, interesting. I know right? Not exactly what you think of when you think deep dives.
Yeah, usually a little more philosophical. Right, exactly. But trust me on this one, this Gabucci video we’re looking at, it’s got layers.
Okay, I’m intrigued. So the whole thing starts with this question.
What if the groom’s look was just as important as the bride’s, you know, for the whole feel of the wedding?
Oh, that’s interesting. I mean, we always think of weddings as being all about the dress, you know? Totally. It’s like the dress is the star of the show. Yeah, yeah.
But Gabucci is kind of flipping the script. They’re saying the groom’s style matters just as much. I like that.
And they’re really good at what they do. Their videos are slick. Yeah, super high production value.
Yeah, but we’re going deeper than that, right? Like what’s the real value here for the groom?
Exactly. We’re not just looking at the marketing. We want to understand what they’re really offering.
And I gotta say I’ve been to weddings where the groomsmen just looked so uncomfortable.
Oh, yeah. It’s like they were stuffed into those rental suits.
Totally. Like they had no idea what to do with themselves.
Exactly. Just throws the whole vibe off.
Oh, absolutely. Okay. I went to one where the groom looked amazing. Perfect suit, you know? Yeah. But his best man looked like he was about to burst out of his jacket. It was so distracting.
Oh, no. That’s the worst. It was not good. So in the video, Gabucci talk about working really closely with wedding planners to make sure the groom’s look fits the whole theme of the wedding.
Wow. So they really think about everything.
Yeah. They consider the venue, the colors, even the mood they’re going for.
That seems like a lot. Do you think that’s always necessary? I mean, what about a casual wedding? Like a backyard thing?
Yeah, that’s a good point. Maybe for a super casual wedding, it’s a bit much. Right.
But I still think even then, having a groom who looks and feels good, it elevates the whole event.
Yeah, I see what you mean. It’s not just about being formal. It’s about putting thought into it.
Right. Exactly. Even if it’s relaxed, if the groom’s look is intentional, it shows he cares.
Exactly. And Gabucci, they don’t stop at the groom. They do bespoke tailoring for the whole groom’s party.
Really? Wow. Yeah. So everyone looks and feels their best, no matter their body type or style.
I guess that’s where the bespoke part really comes in.
It’s not just measurements. It’s understanding each person and making something that fits perfectly.
Yeah. They even use hand stitching and canvas construction. I didn’t know that.
So it’s like way more customisable and durable than those off the rack suits.
Oh, that makes sense. It’s like the difference between something mass produced and a piece of art.
Exactly. And the fabrics they use are incredible. They work with these Italian and Scottish mills.
Yeah. Getting these beautiful materials that are also breathable, wrinkle resistant, all that. So it’s not just about looks. It’s about function too.
Right. Exactly. It makes you think though, this level of craftsmanship, does it really matter beyond the wedding day?
Oh, absolutely. I think it has a ripple effect. Think about it. When you wear clothes that fit you perfectly and make you feel confident, it changes how you carry yourself.
Yeah. Your posture, your presence, even your mood. It’s like that saying dress for the job you want, not the job you have.
Exactly. But it goes beyond just work. It’s about showing up as your best self everywhere.
I like that. And that’s what Gabucci gets, right? They’re not just selling suits. They’re selling confidence and self-expression. That’s a great way to put it.
Yeah. So let’s talk details. The video really zooms in on things like fabric choices, ties, pocket squares, even cufflinks.
Oh yeah. And it’s like they’re saying these aren’t just accessories. There are opportunities to tell a story.
Right. It’s fascinating how these little details can say so much. Yeah. A unique tie, a perfectly folded pocket square, a vintage cufflink, they all add layers to your look.
But that visual storytelling we were talking about before.
Exactly. Using every element to create a cohesive and impactful impression. And it makes me think, what does menswear really mean today?
Is it about status, self-expression?
That’s a great question. Something for our listeners to ponder. Yeah. I think this deep diet has shown us that menswear, it’s more than just clothes.
Absolutely. It’s a way to communicate and present yourself to the world.
Couldn’t agree more. And whether you’re planning a wedding, a presentation, or just living your life, the lessons from Gabucci apply.
What do you mean?
It’s about intentionality, paying attention to detail, understanding that what you wear can impact how you feel and how others see you.
So it’s about more than just looking good. It’s about feeling good and making a statement.
Exactly. Great stuff.
Thanks for joining me for this deep dive.
Thanks for having me. And to all our listeners out there, keep thinking, keep exploring, and we’ll catch you next time. Yeah. See you later.
